Payment & Delivery
Quirkycat accepts most major credit and debit cards using Paypal to process the payments. This is a secure method of online payment.
We can also accept payment by cheque. To do this, please purchase your item as usual using the online shopping basket, but select ‘payment by invoice’ at the checkout. Then print out the invoice and send it with your cheque with your name, address and cheque card number on the back to:

Please note that items will not be sent until your cheque has cleared at the bank, so if you’re in a rush for your jewellery it’s best to use the online payment facility.
All orders will be despatched same day or next day by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service, so a signature will be required by the postman.
Post and packing charges will be £2.50 for UK orders. For non-UK orders please email us at info@quirkycat.co.uk for charges and timescales to your part of the world.

Returns
We hope that you will be delighted with your jewellery, but should your item be faulty or have been damaged in the post, or if you are in any way unhappy with your order, please return it unused and in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of purchase stating the reason for the return. We would always recommend using recorded delivery for returning goods as proof of posting is not proof of delivery and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until received by Quirkycat. Postage costs for returns will only be refunded if the item is faulty.
Please note: Earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Care
Quirkycat jewellery is designed to be strong and durable with the use of solid silver wire and findings which will not lose colour due to wear. Tarnishing of the silver may occur if the piece is not worn for some time. In these circumstances, it is recommended to remove a pendant from its chain and use a silver polish or dip to clean the chain. To clean the silver fittings attached to the pendant, bracelet or earrings, it is recommended to use a dry, soft cloth to polish them. If necessary use a small quantity of non-abrasive metal polish or a silver dip type cleaner on a soft cloth (do not dip the whole item in this type of cleaner) then rinse and buff.

Care of Quirkycat clocks
Quirkycat clocks are built to be as durable as possible, but if handled roughly or dropped they may be damaged beyond repair. To avoid any damage it is recommended only to use a soft cloth to dust gently, taking care not to snag the cloth on the hands or wings or other protruding areas of the design.
Care is required when changing the AA battery required for the operation of the clocks. Avoid using excessive force. It may be necessary to realign the clock hands with the face if the movement has been dislodged whilst changing a battery. Instructions for changing a battery will be provided with the clock.
